The Black - Manitobans Chamber of Commerce exist to equip, serve and support Black Business Leaders and their communities through advocacy, access to education, training, mentorship and economic development. Our goal is to maximize the potential of every Business Leader, by providing equitable opportunities for growth
Levelling the Playing Field for All by leveraging the
power of Black Entrepreneurs and Black-Owned businesses through innovation, education and training to drive sustainable, equitable economic development in Black communities in Manitoba.
We believe in the BMCC ecosystem.
BMCC’s business model, depicted by the “BMCC ecosystem”; that consists of the board, members, business community, and city/province; makes up our foundation and the balance of interests among the organisms. Our ecosystem is our key to success.
We give back to our communities.
We take seriously the responsibilities that come with being a leader. We help our members build better communities, support various charitable causes, and leverage our size, scope, and resources to help make the world a better place. 10% of all BMCC is reinvested into the black community.
We strive continually to improve.
We are a learning organization that aims to anticipate and respond to changing customer, employee, and community needs through constant evolution and innovation.
We lead in partnership and collaboration
We work in partnership and in collaboration with other local chambers of commerce to achieve outcome that benefit the broader business community and ensure a future for business that improve the lives of all Manitobans.
