From the blood of our fathers, in an immeasurable richness, hope was born.
This phrase captures the spirit behind the Black Manitobans Chamber of Commerce (BMCC) logo a symbol of resilience, unity, and progress. Though BMCC is a new organization, its inspiration is deeply rooted in the shared history, strength, and determination of Black communities worldwide.
The Inspiration
The BMCC logo draws meaning from the journey of Black people across generations from the struggles of the transatlantic slave trade to the global movements for liberation and equality. It represents transformation, empowerment, and the drive to build stronger futures through entrepreneurship and leadership.
Influenced by the ideals of Pan-Africanism and the legacy of leaders like Kwame Nkrumah, the design reflects solidarity and collective strength. It reminds us that progress happens when communities unite with purpose, innovation, and shared vision.
