Sergeant Kevin Morrison is a proud Ojibway Veteran from Thessalon First Nation in Northern Ontario whose career reflects service, resilience, and cultural leadership. He began his military journey in 2009 through the Bold Eagle Program in Wainwright, Alberta, an initiative that empowers Indigenous youth through military training grounded in culture and discipline. After completing the program, he transferred to the Regular Force as an Aerospace Telecommunications and Information Systems Technician, building expertise in the critical communications systems that support military operations.

After completing his trade qualifications, Kevin was posted to CFB Shearwater in 2012. During his time on the East Coast, he deployed twice in support of international operations, serving at Ali Al Salem Air Base in Kuwait in 2017 and in Manama, Bahrain in 2018. In each role, he represented Canada with professionalism, dedication, and resolve.

Since being posted to 17 Wing Winnipeg in 2020, Sergeant Morrison has served as C4S Systems Supervisor within Operational Support Squadron. He also serves as the Military Co Chair of the Defence Indigenous Advisory Group, where he helps advance Indigenous representation and strengthen cultural awareness within the Canadian Armed Forces.

Through both operational excellence and cultural leadership, Sergeant Kevin Morrison continues to lead with honour, strength, and a deep commitment to service. His story is a powerful example of resilience, heritage, and leadership in action.
